Radcliffe Archaeological Project had their AGM at the end of May 2022 and started again after the enforced absence of the Pandemic. We set up a programme of digging test pits in Radcliffe; almost all these test pits were in the gardens of private properties within Radcliffe. All our test pitting is governed by the East Midlands Heritage Agenda and Strategy. Our overall aim is to establish where, when and how Radcliffe developed and which industries took place in Radcliffe. We are also hoping to restart our programme of public lectures on archaeology. Further details will be announced shortly.
