Radcliffe Archaeological Project had their AGM at the end of May 2022.We are now starting again after the enforced absence of the Pandemic. We are setting up a programme of digging test pits in Radcliffe between July and October 2022. Almost all these test pits will be in the gardens of private properties within Radcliffe. All our test pitting is governed by the East Midlands Heritage Agenda and Strategy. Our overall aim is to establish where, when and Radcliffe developed and which industries took place in Radcliffe. We are also restarting our programme of public lectures on archaeology. These will be at three monthly intervals. Further details will be announced shortly.
